Sater: Route 39 Bridge Rumors Barry County

Barry County - MoDOT is not closing the Larry Gene Taylor bridge on Route 39. Rumors stating the bridge is unsafe because of the force of the rising water are false. Crews are monitoring the lake levels, and if water begins to flow over the bridge it could be closed, but as of 10 a.m. Wednesday, there are no plans to close the bridge.
